Croie, a lucky cat

Uh, one of my cats, brought Croie home the last evening of long year-end holidays. Uh had been her boyfriend cat since she came to our home.

Croie is the female cat we rescued in the spring of 2001. At that time she was pregnant and then had three baby kittens.

Her babies were getting glow and she told them to go out outside because they were not babies anymore. Her babies were gone anywhere.

Peter, the male cat, but he loved her babies so much, and got angry with Croie. So Croie had to go out from home.

For 3 or 4 years since then, she came to our balcony to eat food, but these last years I never met her.

My husband said December of the last year he heard that Croie was calling him and saw her on our neighbor’s roof! She looked fat and happy, he said.

On the fourth of January 2012, she came home for a minute, and I am sure she has been safe and fine. She wore a new beautiful collar!

I think Croie is a very lucky cat.

Kakita has accomplished a great achievement

In the early morning November 12, Kakita hunted a big pigeon and brought it home.

His owner found the living room was dirty with a lot of blood and the dead body of a pigeon behind the curtain. The pigeon was almost the same size as Kakita.

Since then he's won the great respect of other cats. They thought that it was a great achievement, but I think, pigeons didn't. It would be a tragedy for pigeons.

Kakita had been a cat of the lowest rank our home, but now he's got more confident in himself.

Pee mail from my cat

Last Friday night, I dreamed of Peter, one of my cats.
In that dream, I held him in my arms all day.

Last night, I dremt of him again.
This time he came back home, and ate food.

Today my husband found his pee mail on his cushion.
Peter has been run away home since early August.

I think he will come back soon!

Kakita's report

Certain day in August 2011, I was fighting with other cats.

And lost the collar, and got an injury on my head.

My spare owner gave me a new collar, but did not find the wound on my head.

When I came back real home, the real owners found my new collar ,but it was a couple of days after that they noticed the wound on my head.

At that time, the wound was swollen that hurt just by a little touch.

Finally I could get here medication, and slept quietly all day.

End.

A miracle happend on the August thirteenth

August thirteenth is the day of of the Bon days when the passed-away human and animals come back this world, your country, your home.

So I was busy yesterday in doing something to welcome my grandmothers, my parents, my relatives and my cats passed away.

And I asked my dad, he has been died for 16 years, if he saw Peter on the way to my house, tell him come back home.

Peter is one of my cats, and he has been running away from home for a week because he didn't want to take medicins his vet gave.

A miracle happend!

Last night he came back home!

He looked fine, without any trouble.

We, including my husband and other cats were released very much.

This year's Bon days I have to add one cat to the passed-away members.

It is Socks at the nekosanctuary.

I yet miss him, but hope he plays happy in the heaven....

Of course, in almost over half of the northeastern region, they had to rescue the refugees, in addition to those bigs they had to rebuild the infrastructure, rescue the victim, also search for a body.

Nevertheless, Why?

Officials, of the nation where politic life went around to every corner of the country, how would they be so incompetent? Or bureaucracy is that when things go well is good but it is useless in an emergency? Alternatively, the real purpose of the bureaucracy might be a different thing than protecting the public?

3.11 or later, I feel like that memories are vague.

Because, I forgot the news that after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident, some workers remained there. I had squirreled the news away in the bottom of memory. Recently, I noticed it.

Search to find a separate article,I accidentally discovered the New York Times article. It was for the engineering team of 50 people remained in Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power.

At the time, it was talked about as Fifty People of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant" on overseas media.

But in my memory, it was the only news or somewhere NHK "left with some workers."
In addition, many people are pretty angry (likely me) that in the country the news of the engineering team of 50 people was not coveraged at all, but in fact, it have been reported.

In the Web edition there was an article of the Asahi Shimbun, TEPCO said on Wednesday 15, "due to the explosion in No. 2 in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, have personnel other than the workers irrigation to cool the reactor falls move to a safe place."

Because large amounts of radioactive material might spill, so have everyone evacuate and about 50 people leave, said.

According to the Sankei Shimbun, "(March) 15 today, in the Fukushima No. 2 nuclear power plant first, TEPCO employees and employees of partner companies are about 50 people" TEPCO said. "Increase the amount of exposure and will be replaced by the following units" that says.

So did not the mainstream media coverage, or imposed a blackout on news is not true. But then, what happened to these 50 people, do not know. Wewe these men of 50 that were working long after the accident at the nuclear power plant?

After March 11, maybe two or three days past, I suddenly found that it was difficult to get milk, dried and canned food for cats. Especially milk.

One of the cat at the nekosanktuary, Socks was aged and weakened, sometimes he didn't eat anything but milk. So I must get milk for him.

So I went to the grocery store near my house just the time it opened early morning.
There many people were waiting in line to be opened the door of the store.
People rushed into the store to buy water, bread, toilet paper, and so on.
After getting something they wanted, then had to be in line for a cash register.

I went to the grocery store early morning of every weekend until May holidays.

For one month or two the price of cat food was rose than before, but other things for humans were same price. Why?

I have to say goodbye to you.

You, Socks was one of the cats lived at the nekosanctuary, one of the last two cats, and one of the my dearest cats.

Since I met you at the first time, you was one of the my dearest cats because you looked like one of my cats I lost that spring.

You have been living at the nekosanctuary for about 10 years, I have met you every weekend,
You survived the terrible time when neighbors tried to get rid of you and your friends,
in ten cold winters, in ten hot summer, in eleven uncomfortable rainy season.

But you have enjoyed ten wonderful falls, eleven beautiful springs,
You loved warm sunshine, gentle wind, smelling good air, and your friends.

I thanked you for your love to me.
I loved your voice, your fur, your beautiful green eyes, and your a bit bent tail.

Though I know that you are yet here, at the nekosanktuary, and never go anywhere,
I say goodbye to you now.

I love you forever, I never forget you!

3.11 Miscellaneous Thoughts - evacuation of children

This was broadcasted on NHK television.

The young mother who lives in Fukushima evacuated her child to Tokyo, but she has been keeping it secret from her in-law parents or relatives.

There may be more mothers like this, or than a few. I don't know.

The North East of Japan is an old farming area. Restraint by community may be tight, not compare to the city.

But it is about children's health.
To evacuate the children to another district, it would go against the interests of the community? May act differently from other humans, or whether that would be contrary to the community itself?

Also, instead of just evacuate their children secretly, is it impossible to act with young mothers and fathers around, evacuate in groups?
Is it hard to do in Fukushima?

Some parents would not want to evacuate. Of course, some parents would want to evacuate. In any event, is there any room to accept the opinion different?

Today is June 11. Past three months from March 11. It seems anti- nuclear demonstrations were held throughout Japan.

3.11 Miscellaneous Thoughts - right behavior and wrong behavior

Recently, I am sad to see anything.

Twitter is in particular terrible.

Somebody attacks someone all the time. That approach is wrong. That approach was wrong.
Or why could not correct that time. And so on.

But, while they are saying that, they don't know what would be right behavior or what would be incorrect behavior. He/She is not really sure.

Mostly, they are citing the news, opinions of Twitter and other SNS, and insist those make them being right.

Where would go firm sense of ethics? Where would go graciousness of act?
Even if they were wrong, they could make them correct after.
IF they had a responsibility for them.

Miscellanous thought of 3.11--Naming

The big earthquakes occurred on March 11, and following the big Tsunami, the explosions of
the Fukushima first nuclear plants, I cannot think of them clearly. So I am trying to write several thing

The name of the earthquakes, at first several major medias in Japan called them different names including the North area and off the pacific ocean earthquakes, but on April first, the cabinet decided its name as "The East Japan Great Disaster."

I don't like the name of "Disaster" because it sounds self pity, and it seems that we don't have any responsibility for anything.

Is it my misunderstanding?

Anyway, though the earthquakes occurred or the atomic reactors melted down, I had to feed the cats at the Nekosanctuary. I went to feed them on March 12th and 13th.

I didn't remember these days, but the cats at the nekosanctuary were usually waiting for me.

On the other hand, the cats we keep inside, were upset.
Whenever the earthquake happened, Momo(red tiger cat) started to growl against the window shaking and sounding noisy, and at the bigger earthquake he ran under the blanket.

He thought that the earthquake monster attacked our house!

The fashion week for our cats

Our cats' fashion week started when Uh and Kakita came home wearing their new collars.

I don't know who gave them those collars, but Uh is proud of it, maybe Kakita.

So my husband got three collars at very low cost from an online shop, and gave them Peter, Buh, and Fuh.

He think that Tenko and Momo don't need collars because they usually stay home.

But seeing other cats wearing their collars, Tenko's mood was been getting worse.

Then I gave her an old collar which Mon, passed-by cat wore, it made her happy again.

Momo and Mary are only two cats not wearing their collars.

Momo said to me last Friday, "why don't you give me a collar?"

So I was looking for a flea collar at the super market near my home, but I couldn't find.

Momo has been staring at me...

Uh and Kakita have got their own home!?

Last Thursday night, Uh, one of our cats came home wearing a collar.
It was a new collar with small blue floral pattern.
Uh seemed being very proud of it.

But we didn't give him a collar.
Anybody gave him it? and Uh has got a new guardian?

Yesterday night on my way home I met Kakita at the parking space,
and then I found that he was wearing a new collar too!
It was a same collar as Uh's except color, it was yellow.

Kakita seemed so embarrassed!

Since 1996, we have been living with many cats, and now eight cats are with us.
Uh appeared in our condo 2004 year, and Kakita 2006, maybe.
But there were too many cats to live altogether in our condo, Uh and Kakita slept and eat in our veranda. It was since last year that they sometimes slept and eat inside.

I guess somebody has been feeding them these days and decided to keep them as his/her own cats.

I am really pleased that they have got their own home, but Kakita, he might be afraid we would think he betray us!

Trying to interpret the meaning of X-Patriate"A Physical Thing."

This time I tryed to interpret the meaning of "A Physical Thing" included in the album "Greetings From Lafayette Park."

A woman, maybe is working for some government office, with a high title. maybe she has married to an government high officer. Maybe she has kids who go to a private shool, and pays a lot of tuition for them.

Or maybe she has a boyfriend of long standing who is an high officer of government or enterprise.

By the way, quite recently she slept with a man.

It is not important who the man was but that she has done such a affair.

It is a little important where she slept with him. Maybe the hotel she slept wasa first-rate hotel or a cheap hotel only for affairs. The room where she slept, there were a lot of memory of others affairs, and it overwhelmed her.

Because she may be is a well-bred woman, graduated from celebrated college, and her ex boyfrends didn't bring her such a place.

The man she slept might be brought there by chance with her husband or boyfriend, or one of customers at the bar she was waiting her husband.

But really it is not important who she slept.

Why did she such a thing.

Although she justified it using trite words, "just a physical thing," and then she felt heavy her over metaphysical relationship?

But didn't "just a physical thing" overwhelmed her? Because what she lucked was "just a physical thing"?

Fun with Fuh

Fuh is a black cat, about 2 years old.

In February 2008, he was dying from a bad cold on our veranda. I gave him medicine in canned food several times.

After he recovered, he came into my condo because there were a lot of cats living there.

Though Fuh had been living with us about for 2 years, he never thought that he lived with us but with our cats. He was a son of Umeko, who was a black and white female cat, 17 years old.

After Umeko's death in summer of 2008, he became the adopted son of Momo. Momo took care of him very often .

Unfortunately, Momo suddenly stopped loving Fuh, for reasons we don't understand. Since Fuh got to be really lonely and lost his place at home, it was harder and harder for him to come back home. Two nights or three nights he slept outside.

Last Wednesday, when I came back home, Fuh was waiting for me at the front door. I was very surprised. And more often, he sometimes stop to let me touch his back fur.

Fuh decided to be a pet cat!

Koyuki and Neko-sanctuary

Koyuki died last Monday, February first.

She was one of the cats living in the bike park. She weared black and white fur, and very pretty cat. loving running and climbing trees, lively and cheerful.

When I met her first, she was already matured, not kitten. She had a mother named Yuki, with same as black and white fur as she.

There were a lot of cats in the bike park, so I call it Neko-sanctuary. Jiro, Shiro, and Umetaro were oldest cats, Utamaro, Clord, Daikokumaru, and Socks were young male cats, Anna and Kuroyuki were young female cats. Other cats were Granpa, Koganemaru, and sometimes no named cats stopped by.

In 2006, some spiteful human behings started to persecute cats, interfered our feeding cats, making their houses made of stylofoam boxes for cold winter.

Then many cats died that winter, and spring. they were Umetaro, Jiro, shiro, Utamaro, Granpa and Koganemaru. Next year Kuroyuki and her young friend Sasuke died. Anna suddenly disapeared.

In 2009 spring, Koyuki's mother, Yuki came to see me twice, and I never have seen her. In summer, her boyfriend Clord disapeared.

At the end of 2009, my friend found her very sick, and brought her to the vet. Since then she was sometimes hospitalized, and died.

There are only two cats, Socks and Daikokumaru, in the Neko-sanktuary.

I miss you, Koyuki! I wish you would play with wind and run up the trees though I could never see you.

Today, Aug. 13 is beginning of Bon, my late father and my late relatives,

Fuh's return

We had been were very concerned, so his return was welcomed by some cats even who don't along with him.

Last Thursday I met a cat at the vet.
I recognized him by his long bent tail and a small blak point like as a mole.

The cat is who I met every 20 day and fed summer in 2007.
It had been very sad days since my dearist cat Umeko was dying.

It was very hot days.
Umeko couldn't walk and eat since third day of August, and dyed 23th day of August.
During those 20 days I met him every night near subway station on the way home.

He weaared a collar but seemed exhausted.
Thogh he was a boy cat, but looked like Beniko, a girl cat I had lost 17 yeas ago.
Beniko and Umeko were living 1 year or so.

I talked with his owner, and found that he was adopted the end of August that summer.

Very lucky boy!

Yesterday evening, I met Kiichiro at the small Neko Sanctuary near by a primary school.
It has been half year since I saw him last.
He was running to me shouting "I miss you!!
I answered him "I miss you too!!"

Today, I expected to meet him again, but he didn't appeared.

Kiichiroh is a very beautiful and slender male cat, with yellow like the flower above and white fur.

This time, it is Kuro-Yuki.

These 2 or three years, I lost many cats at Neko-Sanctuary.
