The Neko-Sanctuary Chronicle 2017 A couple of crows

During this winter, I met a couple of crows every weekend.
They knew that I feed cats, and they wanted me to feed them.
So I have been giving them leftover of cats.

When they were crying loud voice, I asked them to be quiet,
And then they waited quietly.
Adding more, they did not appear when some persons or other crows there since they knew a lot of people dislike them.

Some thrush found that crows got food from me, and they came to.
Crows seemed disliking thrush, so they were waiting until thrush have gone.

How clever birds!

This weekend, The couple didn’t appear.
Did They find some other place to get food?

Tenko

Tenko is one of my dearest cats. She passed away on Friday earlier 1 month, on January 13th 2017.

Tenko, my little Jeanne D’arc, you had been fighting  diseases for almost 4 years.
You went to the vet hundreds times and took thousands tablets of medicines until you died.

I think of you on my way to work, and back home.
In the morning, the sky is blue, shining, and frozen.
I want to down the ground and cry for bad things I did to you, good things I didn’t.

On the third Friday since you were gone, I felt that I couldn’t stand this sadness anymore.

I really want to get back you, but I would make the same mistakes to you.

My little Jeanne D’arc, you were fair and just, trying to be kind to other cats.
You loved me so much. I doubt that I deserved your love.

Tenko,
You are gone, but you are everywhere now, I wish.

The Neko-Sanctuary Chronicle 2017 January Mi-ko was hospitalized

Mi-ko was hospitalized because there was a big tumor on the flank.

One of cat ladies, M-san, found it  at the end of the year and took her to the vet on 16th January. After major surgery, she stayed in the hospital for 8 nights until 23th, and left the hospital on 24th.

She feels completely energetic now, and  has a good appetite.

It has been very cold days, so Bochan and Henrietta are  with or without appetite, but they are  mostly fine.

December 2016 Kai is under training of good behavior by Tommy

A cold day has been continuing this year before January comes.
The north wind is also blowing hard.
But today, the last day of the year, was sunny without wind and plenty of warm sunlight.

Kai seems to be behaving in an apprentice under the protection of Tommy.
I saw Kai sunbathing with Tommy and Sambo the other day.
Kai did not get excited too much at today's Matavade party and got calm.

Miko, Henrietta and Botchan are also fine as they are in the bicycle parking lot.

I hope next year will be a good year too.

November 2016 Matatabi party again

This November it has been many rainy and cloudy days. So for the outside living cats it was a hard season to live.

But Tommy never gave up to host his matatabi party if hasn't rained.

And finally Siam joined with us today! He licked just one spoon of matatabi after hesitating for a long time. It is a great progress for him!

Last week, Kinkan hosted the matatabi party instead Tommy. He got earlier arrived the place of the  matatabi party  and had a lot of matatabi, but not satisfied. He  is a big drunkard.

The Neko-Sanctuary Chronicle Kinkan

Hi, there!. I am Kinkan (kumquat).

I have been here around the back gate of the elementary school ever since this winter.
In spring, cat ladies brought me with Sambo to the vet to have us neutered operation.

It was very scary, but I am happy back to here again.

Tommy and Siam are very kind adult cats. Sambo and Kai are my friends.
Every day, cat ladies give us food. When it rains, there happens a trouble, but I feel happy when the sun appears.

I wish this life would last forever!
