The Neko-Sanctuary Chronicle 4：Kogane-maru, Mari, Tomoko, and Sasuke

Before the persecution to the Neko-sanctuary, other four cats still had to say goodbye to the Neko- sanctuary in addition to the black grandpa.

Kogane-maru had been at the feeding spot for the large Neko-sanctuary since I started to feed.

It was early in 2004. He was a bright yellow tabby male cat, old, and good-hearted.

It's said to have been popular among kids of elementary school located right next to the large Neko-sanctuary. He had caught a bad cold all the time.

At that time, I got a lot of cheap small dishes, and used them for feeding cats.

At one point, Kogane-maru had dropped one of the dishes of pottery in a stone pavement from the bench he sat. I cannot forget his embarrassed face.

I think it was the fall of 2004 I saw the last Kogane-maru.

Mali, Tomoko, Sasuke was the cats of the  small Neko-sanctuary.

Mali, she was an old female gentle cat. Her body was covered by red tiger fur.

She had got Tommy’s mother since he appeared suddenly in November 2004.

Tommy was a kitten, about 2 or three months.

Mari was modest, but well accustomed to humans.

M-san made her ​​a cat house before winter came.

She put the sign on the house not to be broken, asking "please be gentle to her because she was an old cat."

However, Mari disappeared somewhere at the end of 2004.

She might have been sick.

I remember her sitting  with Tommy at the back gate of the elementary school.

Tomoko and Sasuke were a couple.

Maybe they both were neutered.

Tomoko was a black-and-white female cat, and Sasuke was a slender black tiger male cat, such as lizards.

They had a good relationship, but even if  the other male cat (KiIchiro) was bullying Tomoko, Sasuke was just only watching her in the immediate vicinity.

Though he wanted to help her, it might get complicated superfluous, I thought.

I saw Tomoko the last was January 2005, Sasuke was also disappeared for a while, but he showed up once in May 2005. It was the last.

My husband rescued a kitten looking like Sasuke at the bicycle plot of our apartment in 2012.

The kitten becomes a large cat now, and enjoying his life.

I noticed recently that he might be the reincarnation of Sasuke.
