I am not dead, just sleeping and enjoying a sweet new season.

I am Utamaro. My name is from a famous painter , Kitagawa Utamaro

(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utamaro), who lived about 200 years ago and drew often Kabuki acters with big faces.

My face is bigger than any other cats’ here, so Neko Obasan named me after the painter.

I am embarrassed of my big face, so I am in a shady nook.

On the way of my walk, I looked at my house. Neko obasan found me and called.

But I just looking and didn’t want to go home yet, so I hid myself among the tree.

Umeko, Playing With Momo’s Tail
